PILGRIMS’ PROGRESS – WEEK 13
This week started from Fort Augustus following the Great Glen Way to Drumnadrochit then over the hill to Beauly to visit the ruins of the priory which was founded by the Valliscaulian monks from Burgundy at the same time as Pluscarden Abbey. We spent a very enjoyable night at the Black Isle Brewery. After a BBQ hosted by the Gladwins, we slept in a very cosy barn before setting off for Cawdor Castle the next day, where we were joined by a coach group of Austrian pilgrims touring Scotland. The final night at Logie was spent as very spoiled guests of Panny Laing in Logie House – what a grand finale to the pilgrimage!
