PILGRIMS’ PROGRESS – WEEK 11

This was a week of following various water routes across Scotland from Edinburgh to Tyndrum, firstly along the Union and Forth & Clyde Canals to Glasgow, then along the West Highland Way up Loch Lomond. A slight detour was made to Luss where we enjoyed the very kind hospitality of the Luss Pilgrimage Centre and Parish Church as a base for a few days. A special Ecumenical service was held in our honour in the church, attended by Archbishop Mario Conti, Roman Catholic Archbishop Emeritus of the Metropolitan see of Glasgow. We were ferried across Loch Lomond to Inversnaid to rejoin the West Highland Way to Tyndrum.
